I assume it is because your staff is blunt. So they want you to be able to stun a little? Dunno, really. haha |

Dunno, really. haha > This is a good question I believe I answered this on myth already with a semi-detailed thought bubble, but since nobody seems to care, I'll re-explain =) pretty much EVERYTHING in the necro guild uses it's staff, therefor, the necromancers have general knowledge of how to use it effectively, HOWEVER, they are still a caster guild, meaning they are not knowledgable in how to attack with it. I put up an analogy of wielding a frying pan. Sure you know that you're supposed to use the handle to hold it and bash people with it because you've used them your entire life, but the simple fact is that you probably don't know how to effectively use them in combat to attack with. Therefor, if you actually get a lucky hit and hit the target, chances are it will cause a large *THWACK*, but your chances of actually hiting them are very small. |

currentl WB blunt has no real use, unless i take 1 warrior level for attack - which is just a cheap workaround |

I think it already does.. but if not, then I agree, it should =) WSB does have a use though, it can do really high hits if you want it to!, though the chance of those hits actually hitting is fairly small/null just consider it a perk of the guild chemosh, seeing as secondary wsb would be nerfed because it would be a secondary skill |

Yet another 'expart' inane opinion by Maduo...and you wondered why your 'thought bubble' was ignored the first time.

| This is obviously not something I'll expect maduo to understand since both the logic and self-awareness gene were somehow borken the day they created his dna strands, but...
Logically it would stand to reason if you have a 'weapon skill' of any sort, it implies having a skill to attack with that weapon, and only Necromancer seems to be missing this oversight - while other guilds, even Weaver (one you'd stand to reason would have the least likihood of being capable of strong attacks) have the attack skill within their tree.
In any case - oversight or not, simple enough to not train it, and it also stands to reason that given the end-game mobs and dmg output through other means, I doubt many if any (apart from an exp dump) in caster classes bother to train either attack or weapon skill x.

| while it "stands to reason" that you would have the skill to attack with that weapon, you can optionally not train attack and only train weapon skill blunt.
i'll make this easier though, and explain attack and wsb in ways you guys can understand:
attack == accuracy. weapon skill blunt = ability to properly use weapon. 100% weapon skill blunt = you can do all the cool tricks with the weapon. 100% attack + 100% weapon skill blunt = you can do all the cool attacks and actually hit your target.
I took martial arts in high school, and i could do all the cool things they taught us to do with nunchucks. i could not, for the life of me, have hit someone with them on the first try if i were actually in a fight. attack is the ability to allow yourself, not only to exercize the strength and power of the weapon, but hit with it in a combat setting.
necromancers do not learn how to fight. they learn how to use a staff. |

But but but..it's weaponskill blunt. What if I exploited a bug that allowed me to unwield my staff, and then wielded a club WHERE WOULD YOUR LOGIC BE THEN?!?! |
