Sales Scams Wed Jul 21 22:30:03 2010 MST Vor admin offline Hi, this is a friendly reminder that you guys scamming each other via sales (like taking the eq and not giving the gold, etc.) is not a wiz-related issue. This is something you guys choose to do with each other, and its your own reputations on the line. Frankly I probably would never help someone who stole from me in any way on my player chars, but that won't deter everyone. IF YOU ARE STOLEN FROM, THAT IS YOUR OWN PROBLEM. The one exception to this position is that if you scam a newbie (and that term is used without relationship to level), then you will be nuked. Immediately. If you have a good excuse, I might consider listening to it after I've nuked you. You could email the admin team about it. If you are worried that people may steal from you, ask yourself these questions: 1) Does this person have an "alleged" history of stealing? 2) Have I been a real jerk to this person, and do they have anything to lose from doing this. However prolific this may become with the recent returns from days of old, I encourage you guys to remember that karma is a bitch, and that if you piss each other off enough, you'll be playing on the solo mud that people keep claiming we have now. Trust me, it's not as bad as it could be. If you guys whine to me about this, I will probably be rather unkind about it. I personally understand the gratification of retaliation, but frequently if someone is going to steal something, they will not be inclined to respect that turn-around is fair play.
