It'd be pretty swell if we were told in an inform post or some other
smart wiz type thing when things like spell/skill costs are changed,
touch of darkness was recently upped dramatically in sp cost and
nothing was mentioned on any channels or in news posts.

it was not an intentional effect. the changes I made were mostly to
fix the way I had coded them to do grank boosting, and to make sure
that they didn't scam you out of grank. clearly it didn't work, but
I'm pretty sure that within 24 hours of making the change, roirraw
informed me of the effects, at which point i changed the code to
revert to old sp cost (without actually changing how I made it
work). I even had him check the numbers, and he had gone from 80ish
to whatever (130 or so probably) back down to 79. i assumed that was
fixed. checking the numbers now, it still seems fixed so i'm not
sure why it's an issue a weekend later. :P

erm, sorry, the grank boosting effects did work. what didn't work
was it being unnoticed, which i didn't mention I thought it would
be.
