We seem to have a total of 46 events
a couple from player involvement and a couple from wiz involvement
i was just wondering why we cant up how often an event is triggered
somedays we get 0-1, others we get 6-8
being a neat feature to the mud im for they run more often
i think you could categorize events into different categories such as
monthly events
weekly events
daily events

and each category has a different frequency to when the event thingy
mabop runs them
for example
egg hunt i would think could qualify monthly or every other week type deal
where nosuck,suck,tol,tod i would think should be daily type events
just asking for some other opinions with
pros/cons

events run very randomly because it's more fun when you can't be
sure when something will happen. if suck is a daily event then every
day you know that once you have seen suck you are done, or you know
that if you haven't seen it, it must be coming soon. just because
they are a fun (or sometimes not-so-much-fun) feature of the mud
does not mean they need to be regular. frankly i think that the more
we divide it up and make it fit into little patterns, the less
interesting they get.
unpredictable behavior is more like whim anyway, and i tend to think
that most events run at the whim of the 'gods' of the mud.
