But yeah, excellent idea. remove sales make everything go back to the dark ages when eq was auctioned in the auction? honestly dunno why we'd need a shop to buy magical stones that continously fade in power over time... can't imagine any sane person even opening a shop like that.. you'd constantly go out of business.. even moreso, if the shop keeper was able to create them, he would have to be able to be better than other navs which would mean buyable choice/unknowns/randoms, which in turn would be imbalanced. to sum it up, if ppl wanted to buy a rock, they'd ask for it on sales =) |

| i sort of like the idea of a shop that can sell magically made items. specifically nosave ones. it'd have to be something like gab, where you pay to have it placed and get nothing back til it sells. would be tricky to remove the items with a duration on them; i don't want it to let people make things in advance that won't fade as they should. ultimately it may be overly complicated, but if i can think of a way to do it i'll consider it as i have time. |
