| Not sure exactly what happened but...
From levels 10-17 my abomination has had zero issues tanking for
zombie, wraith, mummy, vampire, and myself. I trained tanking to 25%
when I first got the skill. I never checked how many I could tank
for at the time because I was not having any issues. Today I spent 5
or 6 hours doing lazy exp in the crack. After leveling my
abomination to 18, I went back to the crack to continue grinding. My
wraith died from a spell and I was like.. what just happened...
I rezzed the wraith and made sure my abomination had tanking on,
which it did, and proceeded to attack the next mob. I died in round
2. I ran back, and my abomination was still fighting, but my zombie
was dead. I could not figure out what the hell was going on. I
eventually thought to check my tanking skill. It said he could tank
for 4. I put my zombie to sleep, and went back into battle. Now my
abom had no issues.
I am guessing that there is some kind of newbie status applied to
the abomination when it comes to the tanking skill that is removed
when the abomination hits level 18. That would be some great
information to add to the necromancer book. If that is not the case,
then I have no idea what is going on. Either way, I am now partying
without my zombie until I can get my tanking skill high enough to
bring him back into the party.
