So, apparently all of the bodies/forms, aside from body of nether, used a truly bizarre system to decide how much of a stat bonus to give you, with the end result being that people whose stats were too good would actually get penalties. basically it was trying to "set" you to a specific point rather than make you better, in a lot of cases. I found this system to be obnoxious, and so I changed it to use a different way of formulating the bonuses (to stats, only).

If anyone finds that the new stats are not as good as they should be, please feel free to mudmail me a copy of your stats before and after, as well as sending me all relevant masteries so that I can try to gauge what needs to be changed to make it better.

Similarly, if you find that the stat bonuses are suddenly far superior, email me and let me know so that I can have a look and maybe downtune it. (I may also decide that the bonuses you are getting make sense and leave them alone, this is generally meant to be an uptune since it replaces a system that was weakening some people).

Lastly, I would like to give a heads up to mist mages: before my change, your spr bonus did not bother to check the effectiveness of the spell; now it does. If you have crappy skills/spells, you will find that being mist mage is not as easy as it once was.

I just re-updated the code to use old numbers in a new way. Basically if the point was not to penalize you (for instance, str or con to body of stone, or spr to mist form), then what I did was use the old numbers, but make it impossible for you to gain negative bonuses from having stats higher than it imagined you would. So an earth mage will always gain +str from body of stone.

For the places where you actually do get penalized (-con to mist form, -dex to lava mage, etc), now it will use the exact same numbers it used before.

I'm leaving the spr change to mist form though. However, with high stats/masteries, it's actually possible to gain slightly more sp_regen than you once could.
