| ok, well, hoping to get a little "relief" from this suggestion seeing as creating lava gear is one of the most tedious tasks on the mud to date. but i would just like to express my oppinion that some changes could be made to help players out more in this aspect. for starters, I don't think lava blocks should "dest" when they hit the floor because your inventory is too full.. afterall, lava is essentially molten rock, so it shouldn't crumble, it should melt through/into the ground. with that being said, I think instead of it instantly desting, it should be setup with a 2 minute timer until it dests, so that even if player's inventories are full, they will still be able to actually mold armor with the block in the room. the 2nd reason I ask for this change is simply because most of the lava gears/blocks are themselves, extremely heavy, and elemental is a caster guild, meaning that all races that would be beneficial to this guild do not have crazy amounts of inventory space like fighter classes. I'm not looking to startup another pointless argueement of "ohh waah waah lava gear in tune blabal", because we've already seen more than enough of them. This is more about the setup-side of the way the skills actually cooperate with each other, not the skills/spells themselves.
to sum it all up, Proposal: Lava blocks do not crumble when dropped in rooms, but instead, melt for 2 minutes into the ground, during which time armors can be made. |
