Just wondering who's fuzzy math came up with the idea that each herb
ways a full pound. Really? That would be one heavy blue daisy.
Perhaps this could be changed so it weighs only a fraction of a
pound?

Problem is the mud doesn't recognise anything smaller.

I've looked at a few possible solutions for this, and basically,
none of them is worth a solution, do you really need to carry
so much around?

yes, since druid potions dest within a matter of hours, and parties
dont allow for druid to spend 30mins recollecting, it is necessary
to carry around enough herbs to make potions on the fly for the
party.

my suggestion would be to make a herb pouch that weighs 2-5 lb. its
a fixed mass. this herb pouch has the ability to hold 200 herbs
this way the druid (or woody) could carry a pouch in their inventory
weighing 2lbs, but still have the amount of herbs required.
if this doesnt work form a coding point of view second idea would be:
(although not in theme/reality) make the druidic staff (g-item) have
a little container which stores herbs. similar to the energy for
soil staff bash

while that first part is a good idea, i have 2 issues. the first is that
i don't like the thematic idea of having, essentially, a bag of holding.
i don't want the pouch to magically work better than your inventory.
the second is that i can't think of any way to make inventory not work
the way it does.
i think i may just make the herbs weigh nothing.

i think maybe the best idea would be to remove the decay on druid
potions. while changing the balm of protection to have a decay rate
may have made sense seeing as healing balm decays, i can't think of
any decaying potions in game. though honestly i'm not sure why this
change was made in the first place, it's not like the potions/balm
are overpowered imo.

well that actually wouldn't fix the wait problem, but changing the
potions and maybe balm back to the old way might be a good idea
anyway. i honestly didn't see the point of that chagne.

I'm too lazy to look through the weight codes in various files, but
why would it be impossible to change weight from int to float? (I
know it would be a major change affecting a lot of stuff, but I
could imagine it to be a possible solution.
