It did a couple of hours of testing killing sidhes with only dagulus rings
worn.

Identify info
Info : When the stones in Dagulus's ring are representational of the stone
adept's current magical attack type, the magical attack will be boosted.
Also, the ring causes stone adepts to use less crystal energy during said
attacks.

These rings have 8 diffrent colors and seem to re-roll every third round(9
seconds)?
The following colors can roll: brown, light blue, bright white, bright
purple, bright yellow, bright red, bright green, dark green.
While testing my damage type was set to fire and my guess was that bright
red is for fire damage.

The odds to roll same colors are pretty low. 1st correct color 1/8, 2 1/64,
3 1/512 and lastly 4 correct colors 1/4096, if the amount of correct colors
even matter?

When i finally managed to get 3 colors to roll bright red on the same ring
which has a 1/512 chance, i did not see a bonus to any of the blasts(3)
which had an effectiveness of 86-113%

Found some old news posts about dagulus rings.
Mon May 6 23:12:42 2013 MST - Vor - modified dagulus ring. the id message
is pretty short by my standards, and not particularly convoluted, so should
be pretty easy to figure out. due to the nature of the specials, i chose to
not give them any special messages.
Thu Oct 10 16:53:46 2013 MST - Vor - boosted the damage a fair bit (my
previous poor math made them very weak)

When i looked over my logs i noticed that the line of the dagulus ring
crystals end with ";" doubt that would casue an error but who knows?
*The four imbedded crystals are currently bright red, bright red, bright
red, and dark green; respectively.*

My conclusion after hours of blasting and reading the old news posts is
that these rings are not working as intended.

Sorry, but your conclusion is wrong.

Spell effectiveness won't grab it, since these rings

modify the base dmg, which spell effectiveness does not consider.

But since you did some testing, I did look into the code, and when

I didn't see anything wrong I still double checked with the creator

of the item.

Nothing is wrong, the tuning is fine too.

If you think they suck, don't use them, but please drop the

topic about them being broken or not working.
