Since the discussion on myth last night turned into a joke, I'll give another shot here.

While woodsman has pathfinding (and memorize location) which they can use with 8 or 9 locations permanently, and shapeshifters (birds and dragons) can use migrate to what I believe any island, would'nt it be fair to let druids use at least 2-3 personal trees each boot as beacons?

I know they have relocate and a "single guild portal", but having more than 1 tree would really make them more attractive for soloing.

And no Reamus, don't mention the triangle.

How about having an ancient tree, where appropriate, on certain vmaps that you could transport to rather than having a stupid amount of personal trees - could be some element of quest to get in tune with the tree (or some long channeling time)?

I'm sure we can think of 1000 in theme reasons here. My personal one
was something about memorizing the soil at a particular location.
While no other "animists" have access to nav, there is no such thing
as an "animist" technically speaking.
Druids are pretty castery....I know the levels required may be
inhibitive, but perhaps they could get access to nav/mnav?
Otherwise my two cents is for a copy of woodsmans pat
finding/memorize location, but thematically speaking it'd be about
memorizing the soil at a location, and travelling to it through the
roots
